Warm and cozy back house built in 2006 to match the architecture of the 1927 main Mediterranean home. It is ideal for anyone who needs a place with all the amenities but who wants to avoid a cold and sterile hotel.
The space
Short term or long term stays are acceptable. Air conditioned, fully furnished, includes a living room with a fully-stocked kitchenette, seating area, bedroom, bathroom with walk-in whirlpool bath, and balcony -- all on one level. There are private outdoor areas in front and back, as well as a walk-in closet and pantry.
This is a secluded quiet location in an elegant Altadena neighborhood close to foothill and mountain hiking trails. Downtown Altadena stores, markets, restaurants, bakeries, bars, churches, gyms and dance studios is a 10 - 15 minute walk away.
Our street is home to numerous JPL and CALTECH scientists, educators and engineers. Richard Feynman lived on our street. Busses run regularly on nearby Altadena Drive. You can bike down to Old Pasadena in less than 20 minutes.
