Gray Goose is located in the quaint community of Sea Hawk which has private beach access and is less than a mile south of Duck Village.
This custom built home was completed in May 2016. The owners are perfectionist and this is reflected in the condition of the home and the amenities they have provided. Gray Goose is a three story home with the charm of the Old Nags Head style with its covered, wraparound porches. It has four bedrooms, three and a half baths, large ground floor rec room, a heated fiberglass pool with two water spouts and a 7 person Bull Frog hot tub. The pool area is fenced with an outdoor living room, play area and separate pool pump house.
All entry ways are under roof. The main living area is mid level. It has a well equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, double ovens, two dishwashers and a large bar that seats six comfortably. The adjoining dining room has a beautiful six foot round table that seats 10. There are windows on three sides and a patio slider that opens to a covered deck,
The living area is spacious and inviting. It features a remote controlled electric fireplace, which can produce heat and change colors, surrounded by white stacked stone and a rustic wood mantle. The wet bar on this level has an under counter refrigerator with an icemaker, granite countertops and plenty of additional cabinets. The main entrance has a large foyer and coat closet. As you walk toward the main bedroom you will pass the powder room and separate laundry room. The main bedroom boasts a walk in closet, a large private bathroom with double sinks under mounted in granite and a custom built shower with porcelain and glass tiles and a river rock basin. This room also has deck access via a glass patio door which overlooks the swimming pool.
The third floor has two large bedrooms and a hall bathroom. The bathroom has double, under mounted sinks, granite counter top, walk in shower and a separate water closet.
The ground level has two additional storage closets, a large wet bar with a full size refrigerator. The bedroom on this level is referred to as the family suite because it has a king size bed and a set of bunk beds. The bathroom can be accessed through the bedroom or rec room. It also has double vanities and a bath tub.
The outside of this home includes not only the pool area, but a carport and an enclosed shower. There are two sets of stairs leading to the mid level decks. Both are under roof. Take a short walk or bike ride to downtown Duck on the designated trail or go to the beach. Gray Goose is the perfect location for your place in the sun.
