As you enter The Peony Cottage, you'll find a spacious and welcoming living area perfect for families. This area is equipped with a 50-inch Roku TV and an assortment of board/card games. The cottage is approximately 1,000 square feet.
Guests will have access to a full-size refrigerator, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig machine, French press, electric kettle, blender, and all common cooking utensils. Dinnerware, silverware, coffee mugs, and cups are also provided. Enough coffee and tea supplies are included for short visits.
The first-floor bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and bedside tables each with a lamp. The closet contains a cube for folded clothes and hangers.
The full bathroom located on the first floor contains a standard sized shower/bathtub. Towels, Q-Tip's, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, makeup removal wipes, shaving kit, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all provided. A hair dryer is located within the vanity.
Feel free to utilize the brand-new washer/dryer combination unit. Laundry detergent is provided. Iron and ironing board also available for use.
The upstairs loft area has a desk and chair which provides an excellent work from home option. Enjoy wireless connection with upstream/downstream speeds up to 100 mbps! Young ones will enjoy built-in twin beds each with trundle beds - total of 4 twin beds! A mounted, 43-inch Roku TV will provide plenty of relaxation while on vacation.
The second-floor bedroom has a king-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, and a spacious closet. The closet contains a Pack'n Play, airflow, an outlet for a sound machine (provided), and a bifold door to create an ideal environment for sleep.
The full bathroom on the second floor has a beautifully tiled shower and is equipped with same amenities as the first-floor bathroom.
Our back porch is where you will find the Blackstone griddle and outdoor patio furniture. Utilize the provided firewood, firepit, and Adirondack chairs to warm up and enjoy the mountain view! In the spring, we hope for you to catch the 30 varieties of peonies in full bloom!
Guests will have full access to the cottage and surrounding property - feel free to utilize the playground area. As we establish our newly planted peony field, we ask that guests enjoy from a distance. Additionally, guests should not enter any other buildings on the property including the greenhouse, the barn, chicken coop, and the storage shed.
