I have a 3br/2ba post-Katrina home located in a fun, family-oriented neighborhood in south Lakeview across from City Park near MidCity in New Orleans. My home has a traditional New Orleans craftsman design with a quaint porch for sipping coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings. There is parking for two cars in the driveway and plenty of on-street parking. This is a very safe neighborhood where people look out for one another. The backyard is fenced for plenty of safe play for kids. I personally love to take relaxing evening walks to City Park in the Fall and Spring since the weather is so nice and so many people are out and about enjoying the same. This beautiful, raised, one story craftsman-style home in Lakeview near MidCity was built less than 10 years ago and resides in one of the best neighborhoods in New Orleans. Nestled in The Park Places of Lakeview near MidCity, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, 1450 square foot home is a gem. Only a block and a half from City Park, you will also be next-to-front-row for Endymion Mardi Gras parade. The Park Places neighborhood is a great community with events, pot-lucks, and wine events within the neighborhood itself. It is an extremely family-friendly and overall friendly area. The house has an open floor plan with ample natural lighting. The kitchen, dining, and living room are all very spacious. The kitchen is fitted with stainless steal appliances and granite counter tops. It's wonderful for those who love to cook. There are hardwood floors throughout the entire house and ceiling fans in each room. The house has central AC and heat. The two bedrooms both have nice size closets and great natural lighting. The guest bathroom has a combination shower/tub, has two sinks and plenty of storage. Relax in the huge tub of the master bathroom! This tub is complemented by a large shower, double sink, and plenty of room. The master bedroom has three large windows and plenty of room for all your furniture. Enjoy the walk in closet the master bedroom offers. There is a monitored, Smart Home security control center. The alarm system is monitored by cell service and covers, forced entry, fire, and glass-breaks. The living room and front porch LED lights are programmed to automatically come on at dusk for several hours for visibility and safety. Police are notified automatically and arrive quickly. Access to the in-home temperature, lights and alarm or controllable via an app, so the home is great for travelers. You can also add other Smart devices to the home. Not only is this a charming house in a wonderful neighborhood, you are close to everything! Coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and you can bicycle almost everywhere, especially down to the French Quarter to events.
